At Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center, the Center for Emotional Recovery addresses the patient's current emotional crisis while focusing on their inability to achieve autonomy. Emotional recovery takes place within a well-structured, predictable therapeutic environment.

We focus treatment on providing reparative help through:

Cognitive psychotherapy
Aggressive pharmacotherapy
Problem-solving groups
