Senior Adult Growth & Enrichment Program

The Senior Adult Growth & Enrichment Program is a dedicated unit for older adults with psychiatric and/or behavioral problems.  Our older adult program is designed specifically to address these issues in a safe, caring environment where behavior and medication can be closely monitored.  Our goal is to return the senior patient to the community and family life as rapidly as possible.

Patients with a dementing disorder will be evaluated for treatment of a psychiatric comorbidity (e.g., risk of suicide, violence, severe depression) warranting inpatient admission.  Those individuals who have a potential for responding to, and benefitting from short term treatment will be assessed for admission.
